The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive professional who will source parts and materials for both new and existing products. You will oversee projects from pre-production to full-volume production, manage supplier performance, and resolve supply chain challenges to ensure inventory integrity and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of the inventory system, ensuring timely deliveries and managing purchase price variations for assigned projects.
- Resolve issues like supply chain shortages, allocation problems, material discrepancies, and bad balances by identifying alternative supply sources.
- Manage and evaluate the relationships and performance of suppliers to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in a related field (Materials Management or Purchasing preferred) or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with mandatory fluency in English.
- Proficiency with an ERP system in a SAP R/3 environment & Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) is a strong plus.
