Buyer - Parts

Frencken Mechatronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a Buyer – Parts to join our Supply Chain Management team.

If you have experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain operations, or manufacturing, and enjoy working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage PO shipment status and delivery commitments.

• Expedite and reschedule supplier deliveries to meet production requirements.

• Follow up with suppliers and identify potential delivery risks early.

• Manage supplier communication and future material forecasts.

• Coordinate with Engineering and SQE teams on supplier quality issues.

• Support dual-source / alternative-source activities to ensure supply continuity.

• Coordinate supplier pre-payment arrangements with Finance.

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics and Finance.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain or manufacturing administration.

• SAP / ERP knowledge is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with PO, MO, inventory and subcontracting processes.

• Good Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.

• Strong follow-up, communication and coordination skills.

• Able to manage multiple urgent tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in machining, surface treatment or semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage.
