Buyer / Sr Buyer for a manufacturing MNC based in Penang!

You will be joining a global MNC who are pioneers in the semiconductor market based in Penang.

Your new role

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensures reliable supplier performance through timely deliveries, quality standards, and issue resolution.
  
• Supports team development and cross-functional collaboration to align procurement with business objectives.
  
• Streamlines purchasing operations by implementing efficient systems and maintaining accurate data records.
  
• Builds strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and accountability through clear metrics.
  
• Applies market insight and technical expertise to negotiate contracts, manage costs, and optimise sourcing strategies.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Possess strong purchasing operations background
• Manufacturing, high technology and /or semicon industry experience is preferred
• Willing to be based in Penang
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is a plus
