CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Use Inventor software to create detailed 2D & 3D designs for manufacturing items.
Create, maintain, and update Bill of Materials based on product design in M3 system.
Observe and update from time to time if manufacturing process are aligned with M3 system.
Prepare and submit drawing forms for product approval.
Control drawing revisions and drawing issuance in Vault.
Attend and follow up with requests from Technical Portal and emails.
Compile GA (general application) drawings for customers.
Verifying drawings validation for drawings sent to Purchasing department for outsourcing.
Provide information for Master Data SAP to item creation.
Responsible to check with GT&M (Group Technology & Marketing) for anything concerns on products.
Producing drawings that are detailed specifications of a product that show all the dimensions of a part so that it can be made with precision.
Revised any drawings that found out not up to date or any that has missing important dimensions which may has caused interruptions in production process.
Focused intensively while calculating Bill of Materials and while creating the product structure in M3 system to have correct outcome of the data added in system.
Making sure to follow schedule and timeline that has been set up for any task, where to expedite immediately tasks that are behind schedule to avoid backlogs.
Acting proactively on every task to make things better to others.
Interacting and work closely with other departments for better understanding their task and requirement which any that are related.

Qualifications: Diploma/bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or any related field
Experienced with Autodesk Inventor & Autodesk AutoCAD
Experienced with ERP system such as Infor M3

Strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of design software
Good understanding of materials and process in related manufacturing field
Excellent collaboration and communications skills
Detail oriented person
