Job Overview
We&aposre looking for a motivated Capital Formation Manager to lead our client&aposs capital-raising initiatives for their coastal mega-project in Cambodia. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and nurturing relationships with a regional network of institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals, guiding them from initial outreach to final commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic capital-raising plan for current and future real estate funds and projects.
- Surpass fundraising goals by engaging with a global investor base.
- Identify, vet, and connect with potential Limited Partners (LPs), including institutional investors, pension funds, endowments, family offices, and UHNWIs.
- Manage and maintain an active investor pipeline using a CRM system.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing investors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through consistent and clear communication.
- Develop and refine marketing collateral, including pitch decks, Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and financial models.
- Deliver compelling presentations that highlight our firm&aposs investment strategy and the opportunities in Cambodian real estate.
- Oversee the investor due diligence process, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize investment commitments.
- Monitor global investment trends, macroeconomic conditions, and real estate market developments to keep our offerings competitive.
- Provide senior management with investor feedback to help shape future products.
- Deliver regular updates on fundraising progress, pipeline status, and market insights.
Skills And Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or business development within the finance or investment sector.
- Prior experience in investment banking, particularly in Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), or similar roles engaging institutional clients, is highly valued.
- A proven track record of successful fundraising for private equity, real estate, or alternative investment funds, with a history of securing commitments from LPs.
- Existing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and/or UHNWIs are a significant plus.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex real estate investment structures.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
