Role: Capital Market Analyst – (Mandarin and Cantonese.)
Location: Malaysia.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- This individual will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations and optimization of digital channels pre and post trade. Core responsibilities include driving digital adoption for Clients and supporting Client queries related to digital channels.
- To perform business as usual activities within Channel Enablement Function:
- Supporting digital platform onboarding for pre and post trade services on both internal and external vendor platforms
- Manage internal and external client queries related to digital platforms
- Negotiation of Master Confirmation Agreements for Non-Deliverable Forward and Non-Deliverable Option and Equity Derivatives
- Work closely with Legal team regarding any legal documentation issues during MCA negotiation
- Identify potential clients opportunities and review opportunities with Ops/Sales/OCRM to propose the appropriate digital enablement/digitisation solutions for client
- Respond quickly and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders queries, solving their problems in a professional, timely and efficient manner
- Develop and maintain positive relationship with various internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, OCRM, Legal, Ops)
- Performing UAT testing for new platform features and facilitate user testing and/or client testing as required
- Assist in production of various reports used by management
- Manage and understand the workflow processes for all processes within the team and to provide guidance and coaching to team members as required
- Ensure conformance to Desk Operating Instructions and quarterly reviews of the DOI are adhered to
- Contribute to the teams key results and quarterly metrics
- Continually seeking new opportunities for improvement for personal and profession development within the team and across the Bank
Risk Management:
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks across all functional areas of accountability
- Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them and ensure you take reasonable steps in managing them
- Ensure identified control testing defects are resolved, including identification of root causes and any associated process changes required to minimise the probability of process failures
- Ensure operational incidents (losses or near misses) are logged in accordance with relevant polices
- Ensures due care and diligence is exercised on day-to-day operational matters;
- Follow up on corrective/ preventive actions to a point where concerns arising from these findings are addressed to a satisfactory level; and
- Ensure full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/Group.
- Embed the Group's values and code of conduct to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations among employees form part of the culture
