Carbon Textile Material & Process Engineer (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000 (Negotiable, based on experience)

About the Role

We are representing a global aerospace manufacturing group and are seeking an experienced Carbon Textile Material & Process Engineer to support advanced manufacturing operations involving carbon fibre textile and non-woven processes.

This role is hands-on and production-based, focusing on textile material processing, process optimization, troubleshooting, and industrialization within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and industrialize carbon fibre textile / non-woven manufacturing processes.
  • Support production lines on process and material-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Define, validate, and control process parameters to ensure quality, repeatability, and compliance.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions, PFMEA, MRB, FAI).
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams on process improvements.
  • Support qualification of new materials, equipment, and process changes.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and internal manufacturing requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in textile, non-woven, fibre-based, or carbon material manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on exposure to textile or fibre processing equipment (e.g. non-woven lines, fibre web forming, needling, carding, winding, or equivalent textile processes).
  • Strong experience in manufacturing process control, troubleshooting, and industrialization.
  • Comfortable working in a production / shop-floor environment.
  • Experience in aerospace or other high-reliability manufacturing industries is an advantage.
