Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

Branch Operations is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information. This may require them to perform controls within their own area of responsibility. Work includes:

  • Ensuring the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate
  • Building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and/or external parties

Your key responsibilities:


  • Supporting daily Cash product payments end to end process
  • Acting incoming FFI from client on cancellation / amendment for payments.
  • Support HRM process for all payments processing
  • Perform AMLA/ FATF checking by sending MT199 to originate bank if the incoming transaction originator details are not in place
  • Reconciliation for Cash Ops.

Your skills and experience:


  • Strong Attention to Detail and Accuracy. This is paramount in payment processing, as even small errors can lead to significant financial discrepancies, compliance issues, and customer dissatisfaction. Candidates must demonstrate a meticulous approach to data entry, reconciliation, and verification.
  • Fast learner. Candidates need to understand Payment Regulations and Compliance in short time or Familiarity with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal bank policies is essential to ensure all transactions are processed legally and securely.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and Meet Deadlines. Payment processing is a time-sensitive environment. Candidates must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines, especially during peak transaction periods.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Payment processing often involves working as part of a larger team to ensure smooth operations and meet collective targets. The ability to collaborate effectively, share information, and support colleagues is valuable.
  • Proactiveness and Initiative: Employees who take initiative to identify potential issues, suggest process improvements, or learn new skills independently are highly valued.
