Category Manager (Beauty & Personal Care) - Klang

Office location: Klang Parade

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sales, margin performance, and identify actions to close performance gaps.
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, pricing, rebates, and promotional support.
• Maintain product/item master data, pricing, and new item setup.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, expiry, replenishment, and stock availability.
• Plan and coordinate promotional activities, online campaigns, thematic promotions, and roadshows.
• Work closely with Marketing on promotional submissions and social media schedules.
• Support new store openings, refits, and store visits.
• Source and evaluate new products and brands based on market potential and business needs.
• Manage new product listing, supplier onboarding, and product launches.
• Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in procurement, buying, or category management, preferably in retail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and contract management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
