We have recently partnered with an international company that specialize in logistic solutions. The company is going through a growth phase and currently looking for CEO as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the company's integrated logistics operations.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams across the entire supply chain, including land transport, customs clearance, and terminal operations.
- Ensure optimal coordination between transport partners, port authorities, customs officials, and terminal centres to guarantee timely and secure delivery.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for each supply chain segment, including vessel utilisation, terminal throughput, customs processing times, and delivery performance.
- Champion the company digital transformation journey, including the adoption of integrated logistics platforms, electronic documentation, and real-time cargo tracking.
- Drive process optimisation through automation, data analytics, and digital tools, ensuring seamless information flow across the supply chain.
- Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies, cost control, and operational efficiencies across land, sea, and terminal operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to Malaysian maritime laws, land transport regulations, customs requirements, and company standards.
- Proactively manage risks related to logistics operations, contracts, and financial exposures.
Requirements:
- MBA or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 15 years in logistics/transportation, with at least 10 years in senior leadership (CEO, COO, GM). Direct experience in integrated supply chain management, ocean freight, and vehicle terminal operations is highly preferred.
- Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision making abilities.
- Expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, digital transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to lead diverse teams and engage with industry stakeholders
- Excellent relationship building skills with people, including your colleagues, cementing relationships at all levels from work place environments to site environments;
