About the Role

We're setting up a dedicated CFD Business Development team for the first time, and we're looking for sharp BD professionals to build it with us. TradFi clients are warming up to crypto infrastructure fast — your job is to find them, win them, and bring them onto the platform.

This is a hunting and farming role with a clear revenue mandate, real commission upside, and the rare satisfaction of building something from scratch at a company that already has the product, the scale, and the brand to back you up.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and engage CFD/forex IBs, brokers, and professional trading groups, pitching Gate's products and partnership value proposition
  • Guide traditional finance clients through the Web3 onboarding journey - simplifying the transition and lowering barriers to entry
  • Manage and grow your channel relationships day-to-day, responding to client needs and ensuring long-term retention
  • Monitor competitor platforms and traditional forex brokers for market trends, policy shifts, and IB commission structures - feeding insights back to the team to sharpen our BD strategy
  • Track conversion metrics and pipeline progress, conduct regular channel reviews, and contribute to hitting the team's trading volume targets

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of BD, channel sales, or client relationship experience in CFD, forex, or traditional brokerage/derivatives
  • Solid understanding of IB business models, trading workflows, and commission/rebate structures in the forex and brokerage space
  • Strong prospecting and execution skills - you can independently run a pitch, negotiate terms, and close
  • Genuine curiosity about Web3, DeFi, and crypto assets - you don't need to be an expert, but you need to want to learn fast
  • Business-level English and Chinese (written and spoken); additional languages a plus
  • Exposure to crypto, DeFi products, or on-chain wallet experience is a strong advantage
