As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking highly motivated and results-driven Channel Sales Managers to spearhead our growth in the smart lock .

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced local Channel Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies within the Malaysia market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local traditional lock, smart lock, or general hardware industries, with an established network of distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners. You will play a pivotal role in building our channel ecosystem from the ground up in your region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard tier-1 and tier-2 distributors, wholesalers, and specialized retail partners within the hardware and door lock sectors.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement localized sales strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for Imou's smart lock product lines.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key channel partners, providing them with necessary product training, sales enablement, and marketing support.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics. Provide continuous feedback to the HQ to help optimize product roadmaps and marketing strategies.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation and negotiation to contract closing and post-sales relationship management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the global marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product rollouts and promotional campaigns in the local market.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 35 years of proven B2B channel sales experience, specifically within the traditional lock, smart lock, building materials, or general hardware industries.
  • Network: Possess an active, existing network of local distributors, dealers, and hardware channels in Malaysia.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and business development skills. Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Native proficiency in [Insert Local Language]; professional working proficiency in English .
  • Traits: Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, highly resilient, and capable of operating effectively with remote HQ support.
