Role Description
This is a Full-time, On-site position based in Seksyen 15, Shah Alam for a Chargeman AO / Chargeman A1 (include Machine Maintenance) role. The position is responsible for maintaining factory electrical systems and machinery, ensuring reliable operation through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs of equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and repair maintenance on factory electrical systems and equipment, including motors, hoists, generators, and control panels.
- Respond promptly to electrical faults, power outages, short circuits, or equipment trips.
- Assist in the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of factory electrical machinery under supervision.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor daily electricity consumption and report abnormal readings or issues.
- Supervise and assist technicians during maintenance work, ensuring safety compliance.
- Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections as required by supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations, Electrical Supply Act, and factory safety guidelines.
- Support supervisors in QMS, EHS, or other operational tasks.
- Assist in managing spare parts and inventory for electrical equipment.
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior/management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Chargeman AO / Chargeman A1 Certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia is required.
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance-related role.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is a plus.
- Available to work a 5.5-day week, including half-day Saturdays.
- Availability to work in shift patterns according to operational needs.
