Job Description
HIRING: CHARGEMAN BO
Location: Sendayan TechValley, Seremban
Salary: RM6,000 – RM8,000
MYFutureJobs Negeri Sembilan is hiring on behalf of an established global manufacturer specialising in high-purity electronic materials for the semiconductor and related technology industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the factory's HT 11kV and LV electrical distribution systems.
- Perform electrical switching, isolation, inspection and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor transformers, switchgear, generators, protection systems and electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore power supply while minimising production downtime.
- Maintain electrical logbooks, inspection records and daily energy-usage records.
- Support testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment and installations.
- Review electrical installation drawings and ensure contractor work meets technical and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all electrical equipment and maintenance work comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements, OSHA and company procedures.
- Support the operation and maintenance of factory utilities, facilities, air-conditioning systems and generators.
- Coordinate with contractors, utility providers and relevant authorities when required.
- Provide technical support to production operations according to the assigned shift schedule.
Requirements
- Possess a valid Chargeman BO Certificate of Competency registered with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or an equivalent qualification.
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining HT 11kV and LV electrical systems.
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial plant or process facility is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, switching procedures, preventive maintenance and fault troubleshooting.
- Willing to work on a two-shift schedule.
