Job Description
- Delivering project results on time
- Correct use of methodologies, tools and systems
- Protection of AkzoNobel technologies
- Maintains and promotes a safe work environment, complies with safety policies and procedures. Follows safe work practices for personal and equipment safety, in both the laboratory and in the field. End results are zero or minimum safety incidents and a clean, orderly working environment.
- Conducts formulation or technical work (in the lab) as defined in the departmental research plan
- Asks appropriate questions to clarify requirements, expectations and critical performance parameters
- Documents results, visits, etc. through appropriate reporting systems, reports outcome to manager or peers
- Familiar with relevant experimental, development and/or analytical approaches and techniques
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/ Material Science or similar programme)
- 0-3 years working experience
- Preference formulation experience with expertise in wood, metal and trim paints in solventborne and waterborne systems for decorative paint applications
- Proven experience in managing a small team to deliver impactful results
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
