Chief Corporate Development Officer

We are seeking an exceptional, Chief Corporate Development Officer to lead our organization into its next phase of strategic expansion, operational excellence, and market growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shapes long-term strategic direction, market entry, and portfolio diversification alongside the Board..
2. Orchestrate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and high-impact alliances across the global supply chain to unlock new distribution channels.
3. Lead digital transformation and ensuring manufacturing capabilities remain cutting-edge and cost-efficient.
4. Actively engaging with current shareholders, institutional investors, and financial institutions to secure capital for capital expenditure (CapEx) and growth.
5. Ensure robust internal controls, risk management frameworks, and strict adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance standards.
6. Cultivate a high-performance executive culture, mentor senior department heads, and build agile succession pipelines across the business.

Requirements & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. Professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.
2. Demonstrated leadership within manufacturing, industrial engineering, heavy manufacturing, or capital-intensive sectors is advantageous.
3. Deep mastery of capital structuring, corporate restructuring, financial modeling, treasury, and statutory reporting.
4. Proven capability to translate complex financial insights into clear, actionable commercial strategies and top-line expansion.
5. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with board members, institutional investors, banks, regulatory authorities, and industry partners.
6. Exceptional ability to negotiate and secure high-value commercial contracts and institutional partnerships.
7. Strong understanding of global supply chains and hedging strategies for raw materials/commodities.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively engage with local authorities, regional partners, and international stakeholders.
