About Our Client


The client is major tourism and hospitality group responsible for managing development projects, commercial operations, and assets within the sector. You will be managing properties, tourism initiatives, and business units across the state.

Job Description

• Lead and manage all commercial activities, operations, and projects across the company and its tourism & hospitality subsidiaries.
• Develop strategic plans, drive business development, and position the organisation competitively in the industry.
• Ensure compliance with policies, governance standards, and maintenance requirements for all assets and properties.
• Oversee implementation of major development projects, ensuring they meet budget, timelines, and specifications.
• Build strong relationships with federal/state agencies, investors, and other stakeholders to secure funding and support.
• Conduct feasibility studies, identify new development opportunities, and coordinate groupwide marketing and procurement.
• Manage risk, monitor organisational performance, and present regular progress reports to the Board and SEDC.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Holds a degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Finance, or Economics, with an MBA preferred.
• Brings 15+ years of leadership experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, or related sectors, including experience in senior executive roles.
• Has strong commercial acumen, proven success in scaling businesses, and experience managing large teams or multilocation operations.
• Demonstrates visionary leadership, stakeholder management strength, and high competence in innovation and sustainability.
• Experienced in working with Boards, government bodies, investors, and strategic partners.
