The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - AI & Robotics Platform will lead the definition and execution of Mr. Robot's end-to-end robotics and AI platform strategy. This role is pivotal in building scalable

robotics deployment infrastructure, advancing proprietary AI capabilities, and establishing a robust

tele-operations backbone alongside a defensible, data-driven Retail AI Brain.

The CTO will play a critical role in transforming Mr. Robot into a data-centric AI platform company,

driving sustainable and recurring revenue streams through Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS), AI licensing, and tele-operations optimization.

Job Responsibilities:

Robotics Platform Architecture

  • Architect and oversee the full robotics technology stack across multi-brand platforms.
  • Design modular and scalable robotics architectures tailored for structured indoor environments.
  • Develop hardware abstraction layers to minimize OEM dependency and improve flexibility.
  • Standardize deployment frameworks to accelerate rollout timelines and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and robotics standards.
  • Drive lifecycle optimization aligned with RaaS business economics.

Tele-Operations & Fleet Infrastructure

  • Design, build, and scale a robust tele-operations architecture.
  • Develop low-latency control and telemetry systems over 4G/5G networks.
  • Implement centralized fleet management and monitoring platforms.
  • Define and execute autonomy uplift strategies to reduce reliance on human intervention.
  • Optimize tele-operations cost per deployment while maintaining service quality.
  • Establish cybersecurity frameworks to safeguard systems, data, and infrastructure.

Data Platform & AI Infrastructure

  • Own the end-to-end robotics data pipeline and MLOps ecosystem.
  • Develop and scale SKU recognition and retail shelf intelligence datasets.
  • Build analytics capabilities for human-robot interaction insights.
  • Implement real-time fleet analytics dashboards for operational visibility.
  • Establish cross-border data governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Define and drive data monetization strategies.

Retail AI Brain & AI Roadmap

  • Define and execute a multi-year AI strategy spanning perception, cognition, and autonomy.
  • Lead the development of a proprietary Retail AI Brain as a core IP asset.
  • Develop Vision-Language-Action (VLA) systems tailored for retail environments.
  • Drive AI localization strategies across Southeast Asia markets.
  • Translate AI capabilities into scalable, subscription-based products and licensing models.

Leadership & Governance

  • Build, lead, and scale high-performing teams across Robotics, AI & Data, and Tele-Operations.
  • Establish best practices in DevOps, MLOps, and engineering governance.
  • Proactively manage scalability risks, system reliability, and technical debt.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to align technology with commercial strategy.
  • Represent Mr. Robot in industry engagements, partnerships, and investor discussions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's or PhD in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in robotics, AI, or deep-tech environments, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in scaling real-world robotics deployments and AI-driven platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, SLAM, computer vision, and autonomous systems.
  • Strong experience in Edge AI, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), and MLOps pipelines.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and telemetry architectures.
  • Familiarity with networking (4G/5G), IoT systems, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in building and managing large-scale data platforms and AI models in production.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building and scaling cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation, speed, and operational excellence.
