Project Design: Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, water and sewage systems, and other infrastructure.
Site Assessment: Conduct site investigations and assessments to gather data for project planning and design.
Technical Analysis: Perform engineering calculations and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and safety of designs.
Project Management: Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Construction Supervision: Provide on-site supervision during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that arise.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in civil engineering or a related role.
Licenses/Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro) and familiarity with project management tools.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
