JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for maintenance & project support functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, QA/QC Monitoring and Control, etc. are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the maintenance /project(s) goals.
- Responsible in supporting immediate superior in ensuring smooth execution of maintenance and projects in accordance to the maintenance plan and Project Implementation Framework.
- Responsible in supporting immediate superior in ensuring maintenance and projects adhere to the QA/QC standards as specified in the Contract and agreed in the Quality Plan.
- To ensure all maintenance and projects are delivered according to the specifications and requirements of the contract, on time and with quality.
- Responsible to execute the maintenance and projects in accordance to the maintenance and projects plan.
- Ensure safety compliance by all on site and serve as example to others.
- To continuously improve personal competency skills, carry out quality inspections and comply to project quality assurance standards
- Prepares punch lists, minutes of meeting and contractual follow-up
REQUIREMENT
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 1 year experience in Civil construction preferable related to marine structures or offshore construction activities or port construction or marine structure repairs
- Strong computer skill in common computer software for AutoCAD, Ms. Office
- Having advance knowledge in project planning and scheduling using common software such as Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge in Construction contract
- Knowledge in diving activities will be an adding value
- Well-structured work approach, able to coordinate. manage multiple maintenance and projects and follow up thoroughly until the desired outcomes are reached.
- Strong knowledge of quality requirements and industrial standards in port industry.
- Good communication skills and able to organize matters practically with the help of the other team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay.
