Civil Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Technician to support the inspection, supervision, and coordination of civil infrastructure maintenance across the port. This role is critical in ensuring our facilities remain safe, reliable, and operationally efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise contractors carrying out maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and construction works.
• Conduct inspections of roads, drainage systems, buildings, pavements, utilities, and other civil infrastructure assets.
• Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
• Monitor work progress, quality, safety, and compliance with HSSE requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and site activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical recommendations to support operational excellence.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure maintenance, or construction.
• Experience in contractor supervision, site inspections, QA/QC, and project monitoring.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare technical reports.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in port, industrial, or heavy infrastructure environments will be an added advantage.
