Job Description

Job Purpose

Support the implementation of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contracting modules by managing data extraction, transformation, upload, and validation activities. Ensure accurate and timely migration of procurement data, maintain data quality, and provide reporting during interim manual processes and system cutover.

Key Accountabilities

1.Data Extraction & Preparation

  • Extract datasets from SAP MM, P64, SRM7, and other legacy systems.
  • Perform scheduled and adhoc data downloads aligned with cutover timelines.
  • Clean, format, and standardize raw data according to SAP Ariba templates.
  • Apply mapping logic, business rules, and validation checks.
  • Identify and escalate data inconsistencies, duplicates, or gaps.

2.Data Upload & Validation

  • Prepare loadready files and upload data into SAP Ariba and PS4.
  • Perform postload validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with functional teams to resolve load errors or mismatches.

3.Reporting & Documentation

  • Produce daily/weekly reports on data load progress, error logs, and metrics.
  • Maintain documentation of data preparation processes and load results.
  • Provide dashboards or summary views for project leadership.

4.Interim Manual Solutions Support

  • Assist with manual data processing tasks until full cutover is completed.
  • Maintain temporary trackers, registers, and governance files.
  • Perform adhoc reconciliation and data handling activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1.Technical Requirements

  • Diploma level education.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data validation, lookups, pivot tables).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for coordination and communication.
  • Exposure to SAP Ariba and SAP MM navigation is an advantage.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and repetitive data transformations with accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of SAP MM, SAP Ariba, and integration with legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with data cleansing, transformation, and validation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of project management tools and approaches.
  • Awareness of procurement processes, SLAs, KPIs, and service excellence standards.

2.Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving capability.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

3.Work Location Requirement

  • Must be willing to be based fulltime in Pengerang, Johor.
