Assessing client's cognitive, emotional, and/or adaptive functioning, as well as client's needs.
Conduct clinical and/or collateral interview to obtain biopsychosocial history relevant to client and/or caregiver's concern(s).
Mental status examination or behavioral observation to reflect clinician's observation on client's condition(s).
Administration of psychological assessment tool(s) to obtain objective data on client's condition(s).
Formulating case formulation or conceptualization on client's condition(s); as well as clinical impression, if needed.
Providing psychoeducation and recommendation(s) to client and/or caregiver regarding client's condition(s).
Providing evidence-based psychological intervention(s) to address client and/or caregiver's concerns.
Assessing and managing suicide risk as per department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Monitoring client's progress in each follow-up session.
Documenting clinical notes.
Writing client's assessment report.
Supporting integrated and holistic care for client including verbal or written feedback to referring doctor and referral to other healthcare providers who may meet client's needs.
Job Requirements:
Possess Bachelor of Psychology; and Master of Clinical Psychology / PhD in Clinical Psychology.
Registered as Allied Health Professional and Full member of MSCP.
Minimum 5 years of related working experience.
Has clinical interviewing, counselling and psychotherapy (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy).
Cognitive, emotional, adaptive, and personality assessment using psychometric tools.
