Job Summary:

• The Clinical Research Manager at MedCentral is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical research projects across the organization.
• This role involves close collaboration with clinicians, sponsors, regulatory bodies, and the MedCentral team to ensure that studies are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
• The Clinical Research Manager will also contribute to strategic initiatives that support the growth and diversification of MedCentral's clinical research portfolio.
• This position is offered on an initial 12 month contract, with the potential for confirmation as a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs.
• 2,300.00 (MYR) - 3,000.00 (MYR) per month

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical research management and coordination

You will oversee the end-to-end management of clinical research projects, including study planning, site coordination, timelines, documentation, and reporting. This includes ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethical requirements, and local regulatory standards.

Regulatory and ethics oversight

You will liaise with relevant authorities, ethics committees, and sponsors to support study submissions, approvals, amendments, and renewals. You will ensure that all regulatory documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained appropriately.

Stakeholder engagement and collaboration

You will work closely with clinicians, investigators, sponsors, and external partners to support study implementation, address operational issues, and maintain productive professional relationships.

Strategic support and portfolio development

You will support leadership in identifying opportunities to expand MedCentral's clinical research activities. This includes contributing to feasibility assessments, study proposals, and strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Quality improvement and process enhancement

You will review ongoing and completed projects to identify areas for improvement in research processes, documentation, and operational workflows, and implement practical strategies to enhance research quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (life sciences, biomedical science, biotechnology, public health, or related discipline). A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Malaysian GCP certified
• Experience in clinical research coordination or management.
• Sound knowledge of clinical research processes, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities effectively.
• High attention to detail with good problem solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel for site or stakeholder engagement as required (this position is fully remote).
