Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at HFM.
Your role at HFM:
- Gain hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) to support reliable and scalable systems.
- Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes in AWS environments.
- Assist in writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure management.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development and IT operations teams to address deployment and infrastructure challenges.
- Learn and implement AWS security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and secure network configurations.
- Set up basic AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail to track system health and security.
- Work with databases (RDS, DynamoDB) to support data management, backups, and recovery tasks.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
- Familiarity with AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network ACLs).
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database systems (RDS, DynamoDB).
- Awareness of AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch and logging tools like CloudTrail.
- Eagerness to learn and apply AWS security and cost management best practices.
