About The Role
We are looking for a
Cloud Engineer to join our
Cloud Engineering team, where you will build, operate, and improve the cloud platforms that run our production systems.
This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on production experience who is ready to
own cloud infrastructure components, participate fully in on-call rotations, and work closely with engineering teams to improve reliability, security, and delivery.
You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring our cloud platforms are reliable, scalable, and operationally excellent.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Platforms
- Build, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services
- Own and operate containerized platforms and workloads in production
- Manage infrastructure changes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Apply best practices for availability, security, and cost efficiency
- Improve platform reliability through proactive improvements and automation
Reliability, Operations & Delivery
- Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards
- Participate fully in on-call rotations and lead incident response for owned systems
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements
- Automate operational workflows to reduce manual work and failure risk
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Assist with application releases, rollbacks, and reliability improvements
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve delivery and operational stability
Key Requirements
- 13 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Production experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Exposure to monitoring, logging, and incident response practices
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, networking, secrets)
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
Nice To Have
- Experience owning production systems end-to-end
- Familiarity with reliability practices (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets)
- Experience improving cost efficiency and performance
- Exposure to incident management tools and runbooks
