Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud Network Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, cloud networking, or cloud infrastructure, with strong expertise in AWS networking and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and maintain secure and highly available AWS network infrastructure.
- Manage and troubleshoot VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, Route Tables, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, VPC Endpoints, VPN, and Direct Connect.
- Configure and support ALB, NLB, and Route 53.
- Implement and support AWS security services including WAF, Network Firewall, and Shield Advanced.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network traffic using VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, Wireshark, and similar tools.
- Act as the first point of contact for network incidents, independently troubleshooting connectivity, routing, DNS, VPN, latency, and performance issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to resolve complex network issues.
- Support cloud implementations, migrations, network transformation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Maintain network documentation and ensure configurations meet security, performance, scalability, and availability standards.
- Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering / Cloud Networking / Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, NAT, VPN, and BGP.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking and security services.
- Experience troubleshooting hybrid cloud and on-premises connectivity.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and RCA skills.
- Experience with Wireshark or similar network analysis tools.
- AWS networking/cloud certification is an advantage.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible is an advantage
