Cloud Security Engineer (Site Reliability) | 5-8 Yrs | Malaysia (KL) || 12M Contract || Hybrid || Quick Joiners ||

Note:

Scope Of Work:

Continuously improve the security of customer cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc)

Continuously reviewing current configuration in cloud infrastructure, ensuring all

configuration are following cybersecurity best practices

Continuously reviewing infrastructure vulnerabilities, prioritize them and ensuring timely

patching

Continuously reviewing cloud users and their roles. Including but not limited to human

accounts, API keys, service accounts, etc

Maintain and operate the existing Micro-segmentation solution. Ensuring only very specific

traffic is allowed both at server level and cloud level

Regularly review and test the existing zero-trust capability to ensure its readiness as backup

line

Together with firewall engineer, continuously reviewing cloud firewall. Including but not

limited to reviewing policies, reviewing users, etc

Together with firewall engineer, maintain and operate the existing Web Application Firewall

ensuring its effectiveness in blocking malicious traffic, DDOS and bot attack

Together with cloud operations team, design, setup and test disaster-recovery capability

Supporting various internal teams on troubleshooting

Work with various internal teams to identify gaps, improve security posture and response

capabilities

Assist in the design, evaluation, and implementation of new security technologies.

Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments to meet

deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

At least 5+ years of experience in Cloud computing technology

At least 2+ years of experience in operating Vulnerability Management

At least 1+ year of experience in operating Micro-Segmentation

At least 1+ year of experience in operating Web Application Firewall

Knowledge and hands-on experience on Cloud configuration, Vulnerability patching, Micro-

segmentation configuration, WAF configuration, firewall configurations, etc

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security or equivalent

practical experience

Good to have certifications such as Comptia Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, ISMS, ITIL etc

Excellent verbal and written communications in English

Experience identifying, investigating, and responding to complex attacks in the cloud

Strong understanding of threat landscape in terms of the tools, tactics, and techniques (TTP)

Must be able to take ownership and take matters to their logical conclusion

Flexible, independent, proactive working attitude, result-oriented
