Cloud Specialist (AI/ML)

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Cloud Specialist with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our growing team. This role is open to both Junior and Mid-Seniority candidates, offering an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies, particularly in the realm ofGenerative AI,and directly impact our clients success.

As a Cloud Specialist for AI/ML, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their AI/ML journey on Google Cloud, from initial strategy and design to successful implementation and adoption of AI-powered solutions. You will be instrumental in demonstrating how Google Clouds AI capabilities, including powerful tools for Generative AI, can revolutionize their operations, enhance decision-making, and unlock new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

For All Seniority Levels:

• Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and existing data infrastructure.
• Advise on best practices for AI/ML adoption, data preparation, model development, and deployment on Google Cloud.
• Design and implement scalable and robust AI/ML solutions, with a particular emphasis onGenerative AI applications, including agentic solutions, advanced data analysis, and conversational AI.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the AI/ML project lifecycle.
• Responsible for the end-to-end AI/ML solution lifecycle, from data ingestion and preparation to model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization, ensuring seamless integration with existing client infrastructure and delivering measurable business value.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Cloud AI/ML features, updates, and emerging trends in Generative AI.
• Collaborate with our sales, technical, and project management teams to ensure client satisfaction.

For Mid-Seniority Candidates (in addition to above):

• Lead discovery workshops and architectural design sessions for complex AI/ML projects.
• Develop comprehensive implementation strategies and project plans for AI/ML initiatives.
• Design, develop, and deploy custom AI/ML models and pipelines using Google Cloud AI services (e.g., Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, AutoML).
• Specialize in integrating and optimizingGenerative AI models(e.g., Gemini, Imagen) for various client use cases, including fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
• Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and solution optimization for AI/ML workloads.
• Mentor junior specialists and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices for AI/ML and Generative AI.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on long-term AI/ML and digital transformation roadmaps.

For Junior Candidates:

• Assist senior specialists in data preparation, model training, and deployment tasks for AI/ML projects.
• Learn and apply best practices for Google Cloud AI/ML implementation.
• Support documentation efforts for AI/ML solutions.
• Develop foundational knowledge in Google Cloud AI services and explore use cases forGenerative AI.
• Actively participate in client engagements, gaining hands-on experience in AI/ML solution delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

• For Junior Position:A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related quantitative field, OR equivalent practical experience. Fresh graduates with a strong demonstrable interest and aptitude for AI/ML, cloud technologies, andGenerative AIare encouraged to apply.
• For Mid-Seniority Position:3+ years of experience in a technical consulting, implementation, or development role focused on AI/ML, data science, or cloud solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a client-centric approach.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred (Any combination of the following is highly valued):

• Google Cloud AI/ML Expertise:Hands-on experience with leveraging Google Cloud Platform like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AutoML to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
• Generative AI Focus:Demonstrated understanding and practical experience with Generative AI models (e.g., large language models like Gemini, image generation models like Imagen), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning and deployment.
• Programming Skills:Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Data Engineering Skills:Experience with data processing and warehousing tools on Google Cloud (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
• Cloud Certifications:Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Machine Learning Engineer, Professional Data Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer) are a significant plus.
• Domain Knowledge:Experience in specific industry domains where AI/ML is applied (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their AI/ML offerings.
• Project management experience or certifications.
• Experience in a client-facing consulting role.
