Description

We are seeking a skilled COBOL Developer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL programming and experience working with mainframe systems. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining applications that support our business operations.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain COBOL applications.
Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and design solutions.
Debug and troubleshoot existing COBOL programs to ensure optimal performance.
Write technical documentation to support system changes and updates.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.

Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in COBOL programming.
Strong knowledge of mainframe environments and related technologies.
Experience with DB2 or other databases relevant to COBOL applications.
Familiarity with JCL (Job Control Language) and other mainframe tools.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
