We are seeking an experienced COBOL Developer to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL programming and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain COBOL applications to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Perform debugging and troubleshooting of existing COBOL programs.
Ensure code quality and adherence to development standards.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in COBOL programming and development.
Strong understanding of mainframe systems and environments.
Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) and DB2.
Experience with software development methodologies and lifecycle.
Ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for COBOL applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
