The Role
They're hiring a hands-on Collections Manager to lead the end-to-end recovery operations. You'll own the full collections lifecycle — from early-stage delinquency management through to legal enforcement — while ensuring a borrower-first approach that supports SME continuity.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement risk-segmented collection strategies for SME borrowers
- Lead structured outreach across calls, email, and SMS to drive timely repayments
- Provide financial counselling and restructuring solutions for at-risk accounts
- Partner with legal teams on enforcement actions for high-risk cases
- Manage and optimise the customer support and collections teams
- Track KPIs — default rates, recovery rates, processing efficiency — and report to senior management and investors
- Use data analytics to continuously improve collection processes and reduce costs
What They're Looking For
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in collections, credit, or financial services
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Melayu
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to generate actionable reports
- Proactive, innovative, and comfortable in a lean startup environment
- Detail-oriented, self-organised, and eager to grow
