What you'll be doing:

Job Scope:

Assisting our in-house kitchen planner team and operator in ensuring the foodservice design and equipment for all the premises are aligned with the business needs and our standard.

  • Plan kitchen layout and specify equipment based on the F&B briefing from Culinary Department
  • Prepare tender package, tender analysis, and tender award recommendation for the kitchen equipment package for all the lounges and F&B projects
  • Planning overall appearance and function of kitchen.
  • Meeting with suppliers and vendors of products including kitchen equipment, F&B equipment, and OS&E equipment
  • Working with contractors to oversee installation to achieve project goals.
  • Giving careful consideration to the MEP provision to ensure safety
  • Select and supervise the work of independent contractors, so that their duties are conducted in accordance with project and business needs.
  • Plan, organize monitor project activities and update the work program accordingly.
  • Track & report project activities, propose installation date, on site installation, and finishing.
  • Assist and work closely with operation team on take-over project, renovation and refurbishment work of existing projects
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties relevant to the role as per the business requirements.

About you:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD - v.2023 and/or subsequent newer releases, SketchUp or other 3D modelling/rendering software, and MS Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Well-versed in Commercial Kitchen Equipment makes and model
  • 5-10 years experience in working as commercial kitchen designer for hospitality and F&B Projects, architecture or interior design, design development, space planning, rendering, drafting and presentations.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and visualize interdependence across foodservice operations
  • Strong ability to interpret foodservice layouts, construction and installation drawings, equipment details, and technical specifications
  • Fluent in English and other languages/dialects communication will be an advantage
  • Liaison with internal departments and stakeholders on projects
