Develop and implement a comprehensive funding strategy to attract corporate sponsors, government grants, and philanthropic contributions.
Identify and engage potential funders, including corporations, high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and government agencies.
Lead end-to-end fundraising efforts, from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closing funding agreements.
Ensure funding targets and revenue goals are met to sustain and expand the scholarship program.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate sponsors, government bodies, and philanthropic organizations.
Act as the primary point of contact for funders, ensuring alignment between their CSR/ESG objectives and the scholarship programs mission.
Represent the organization in meetings, networking events, and industry forums to promote scholarship funding opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, finance, and program management) to ensure funders receive visibility, impact reporting, and proper recognition.
Strategic Partnership Development
Develop value-added partnerships beyond financial sponsorships, including mentorship programs, employment pathways for scholars, and in-kind contributions.
Collaborate with industry leaders and corporate partners to co-develop scholarship initiatives that align with workforce development and talent pipelines.
Identify emerging trends and funding opportunities within the CSR, ESG, and education sectors.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, fundraising, corporate partnerships, or sponsorship management.
Proven track record in securing high-value funding from corporations, government grants, or philanthropic sources.
