Job Overview
The Commercial OperationsManager is responsible for managing commercial operations across Principal Trading (PT) products, commercial partnerships, investment governance, and operational excellence within Omnicom Media. The role works closely with Commercial Finance, agency teams, investment, trading, and media partners to ensure commercial commitments are delivered, investment opportunities are maximized, and governance processes are effectively managed.
The role also supports commercial planning through performance tracking, partnership assessments, deal management, and reporting to drive sustainable business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial Operations & Investment Management
- Support commercial operations by monitoring investment performance, identifying growth opportunities, and improving commercial efficiency.
- Identify investment gaps, media spend leakages, and potential Principal Trading (PT) opportunities across agency portfolios.
- Recommend preferred media partners and commercial opportunities to maximize investment value.
2. Principal Trading (PT) Management
- Manage Principal Trading (PT) products and commercial programmes, including new deals, renewals, approvals, and portal submissions.
- Prepare commercial assessments, deal narratives, demand planning, and supporting documentation for PT initiatives.
- Maintain PT inventories, product inclusions/exclusions, Opt-Ins, compliance documentation, and governance requirements.
- Support commercial negotiations and implementation of PT agreements to maximize trading value, rebates, and incentives.
3. Partnership & Vendor Management
- Manage the evaluation and renewal of media partnerships, including AVB agreements and preferred partner programmes.
- Review media proposals, digital POVs, preferred rates, rebate assessments, and value partnership opportunities.
- Coordinate new vendor registrations and onboarding for commercial initiatives.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor commercial commitments, PT pacing, and Year-to-Date investment performance in collaboration with Commercial Finance.
- Produce regular pacing, tracking, and summary reports highlighting performance, risks, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Support business reviews with actionable insights and recommendations to improve commercial performance.
5. Commercial Governance & Operational Excellence
- Ensure timely completion of commercial submissions, renewals, approvals, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate commercial records, shared documentation, and governance processes.
- Support regional and local reporting requirements, audits, and other commercial operational requests.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Investment, Trading, agency teams, and media partners to deliver commercial objectives.
- Support cross-functional commercial initiatives and ensure effective coordination across stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of commercial programmes.

Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in media planning, media investment, commercial operations, media finance, or integrated communications planning.
- Strong understanding of media planning principles and media investment processes across traditional and digital channels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, reconcile information, and develop actionable commercial recommendations.
- Experience working with media investment reports, financial data, or commercial analysis would be an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
