Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) teams by providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure the achievement of departmental and organizational goals.
- Accountable for achieving annual sales targets across both MT and GT channels.
- Support the team in managing sales performance, customer inquiries, collections, and other sales-related matters.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive business growth and meet objectives.
- Manage and optimize the allocated budget to maximize return on investment (ROI) for all sales and marketing activities.
- Identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies and tactics to capitalize on them.
- Oversee existing GT and MT accounts to drive sales expansion while identifying and opening new accounts within assigned territories.
- Increase SKU penetration and execute marketing promotions and channel activation initiatives to achieve set targets.
- Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals with both existing and new customers.
- Plan, monitor, and review the departmental budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement below-the-line (BTL) promotional and marketing activities at outlets to maximize sales impact.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align above-the-line (ATL) branding and promotional campaigns with company direction.
- Oversee and monitor the effective use of Advertising & Promotion (A&P) funds provided by the company.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 8 years experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods, with strong exposure to both Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels.
- Proven track record in sales growth, trade marketing, and key account management.
- Strong leadership capability with proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing sales teams to achieve business goals.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage budgets and measure ROI.
- Results-driven, adaptable, and willing to travel when required
