Job Summary
We are looking for amotivated and hardworking Commis / Kitchen Crewmember to join our kitchen team. You will support daily kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, grow their culinary skills, and work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation bymeasuring, mixing, and preparing ingredientsaccording to given recipes
- Ensure properfood handling and storage using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
- Prepare food items efficiently to meetcustomer orders and service standards
- Monitor kitchen tools, machines, and equipment, andreport any issues to supervisors
- Maintainhigh standards of cleanliness and hygieneacross the entire kitchen
- Wash and clean kitchen utensils, machines, tools, and equipment
- Dispose of spoiled or expired items in accordance withfood safety and sanitation policies
- Help control and reduce food waste
- Assist ininventory checksand request resupply when needed
- Continuously learn and improve kitchen skills and product knowledge
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and instructions from supervisors
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the superior
Requirements / Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or interest in kitchen operations (training can be provided)
- Willingness to learn and improve cooking and kitchen skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good teamwork, attitude, and responsibility
- Able to maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene standards
- Prior kitchen or food service experience is an advantage but not required
