Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis, located in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Commis will assist in the kitchen with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of senior chefs. Daily tasks include ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are maintained, preparing ingredients, and assisting in plating dishes. The Commis will also contribute to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Food Preparation and Cooking skills
- Strong Culinary Skills
- Knowledge of Hygiene and Food Safety practices
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is a plus
- Culinary school certification is desirable
