Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business Studies/Administration, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in sourcing or supply chain management within the EMS or manufacturing industry.
Must be able to work in the Senai, Johor area.
Job Description:
Lead a commodity team in sourcing activities from initiation to completion for assigned projects, ensuring BOM cost submissions meet timeline and budget requirements.
Supervise RFQ processes, cost studies, comparisons, and analyses; prepare supplier allocation proposals and coordinate new vendor setups.
Strategically plan and execute RFQ events; participate in cost negotiations to achieve the lowest cost solutions and support annual cost reduction initiatives.
Attend internal and external meetings with customers, ensuring all stakeholder and customer requirements are fulfilled.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
Analyze and monitor commodity market trends to support sourcing decisions.
