Compliance & Assurance Manager (Banking Industry)

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Compliance & Assurance to lead compliance governance, assurance, and risk oversight across regional operations, including shared services, processing, and contact center functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with Group policies, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Oversee regulatory monitoring, reporting, and regulatory engagements.
• Develop and execute the annual assurance plan aligned with Group priorities and Internal Audit expectations.
• Lead assurance reviews and coordinate internal and external audits across regional operations.
• Drive timely closure of audit findings and remediation actions.
• Provide trusted, practical advice to senior leadership on compliance, risk, and control matters.
• Partner with Group and cross-functional teams to strengthen governance and risk culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in compliance, assurance, internal audit, or risk governance within financial services/banking.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, internal controls, audit/assurance methodologies, and cross-border governance.
• Professional qualifications such as CIA, CPA, or Risk Management are highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and practical business actions.
