What you'll do

  • AML Reviews: Perform reviews (KYC/KYB, EDD, TM, Screening) with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Screening & Assessment: Conduct name screening (sanctions, PEP, adverse media) and evaluate potential matches according to internal policies.
  • Due Diligence: Assess customer profiles, including Source of Funds (SoF), Source of Wealth (SoW), PoA and periodic review.
  • Alert Investigation: Investigate alerts and cases related to transaction activity or customer risk.
  • Documentation: Prepare clear case files and investigation summaries supporting risk-based decisions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, complete records of all activities and findings.
  • Law Enforcement & Regulatory Support: Liaise with law enforcement authorities and respond to regulatory requests, including preparing and submitting reports, transaction records, and supporting ongoing investigations as required.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Gain structured exposure and provide support across KYC, TM, and Name Screening functions.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to ensure consistent risk evaluation and effective mitigation.
  • Handling Queries: Respond to internal AML-related queries and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing.

Role Levels & Growth

Compliance Operations Analyst

  • Manage standard reviews with guidance and follow SOPs/established escalation protocols.
  • Build foundational knowledge in AML cases and investigations.

Senior Compliance Operations Analyst 

  • Independently handle complex cases across AML functions.
  • Guide junior staff, support QA, process improvement, and escalation management.
  • Ensure case consistency with regulatory expectations.

What you'll need

Compliance Operations Analyst

  • 1–3 years experience in AML, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, or Compliance Operations.
  • Basic knowledge of AML processes (KYC/KYB, EDD, TM, Screening).
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach.

Senior Compliance Operations Analyst 

  • 3–6 years AML/CFT experience with strong exposure to cases and investigations.
  • Deep understanding of AML typologies, risk indicators, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex reviews independently.

For Both Levels

  • Proficient English (Mandarin a plus).
  • Effective workload and time management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours & Shift Requirements

  • Must be able to work Morning, Noon, or Night Shift (fixed shifts; this is not a rotating shift arrangement).
  • While shifts are currently fixed, business needs may evolve and shift arrangements may change in the future. Applicants should have the flexibility to adapt to potential shift changes as required by operational demands.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Crypto, fintech, or digital asset platform experience.
  • Familiarity with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic).
  • Past exposure to transaction monitoring, KYC (Sumsub) and screening systems (Worldcheck Refinitiv).
  • ACAMS or related AML certification.
