Configuration Management Database Manager (Bank, Permanent)

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the regional CMDB and Configuration Management operating model, including standards, processes, procedures, service expectations, and continuous improvement aligned with enterprise and global frameworks.

• Lead regional ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) implementation, master asset data onboarding, validation, and production readiness across APAC entities.

• Establish and maintain CMDB data quality controls, monitoring, certification, exception management, and remediation to ensure CI data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity.

• Define and govern configuration item (CI) relationships, asset-to-system mapping, and service dependencies across infrastructure, applications, systems, and business services.

• Oversee regional CMDB/ITAM operations, including analyst activities, vendor delivery, implementation milestones, performance monitoring, and adoption of regional standards.

• Coordinate with ITSM, Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Enterprise Architecture, ServiceNow, and regional service owners to standardise processes, resolve data issues, and improve CMDB effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or Service Management within IT infrastructure or operations environments.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).

• Strong knowledge of CMDB governance, ITAM processes, configuration management frameworks, data quality controls, and IT infrastructure operations.

• Experience leading ServiceNow ITAM implementations, regional master data onboarding, data validation, and CMDB process standardisation across multiple entities or locations.

• Experience establishing and monitoring CMDB controls, data quality KPIs/KRIs, dashboards, reporting, data certification, and remediation processes.

• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure services, asset-to-service mapping, configuration item relationships, and operational risk management.
