We currently have an opportunity for a Construction Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME) based in Malaysia. Please find the details below:

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Safety Leadership

• Adapt global safety deliverables into Thailandspecific frameworks
• Lead proactive, strategic construction risk management
• Drive a strong safety culture across project and construction teams

Operational Safety Excellence

• Develop/review Construction Safety Plans, frameworks, and SWPs
• Support constructability reviews and preconstruction safety assessments
• Track and report safety KPIs, trends, and leading indicators
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and corporate HSE requirements

Field Safety & Compliance

• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Support site teams in achieving HSE deliverables
• Promote digital safety tools and reporting systems
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to safety officers and construction teams

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management

Experience

• 10–15 years in construction safety roles
• Industrial or infrastructure project experience (preferred)
• OSHA or equivalent safety certification
• Experience with thirdparty inspection agencies
• Background in heavy machinery installation, SHE governance, and DesignBidBuild/EPC delivery models

Skills

• Strong knowledge of digital safety platforms and dashboards
• Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills
• Strong English communication
• Expertise in risk assessment, hazard controls, and auditing
