About the Company:
My client is a mutual insurance company specializing in loss prevention and risk management solutions for commercial and industrial properties worldwide. As a Consulting Engineer, you will leverage your engineering expertise to identify and mitigate risks, helping businesses protect their assets and maintain operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess exposures at large commercial or industrial facilities.
- Conduct on-site risk evaluations to identify hazards and vulnerabilities; hands-on assessments of physical facilities, including roof inspections. Your evaluations will cover key risk areas such as water supply systems, dust exposure hazards, chemical storage practices, and warehouse racking arrangements for clients products.
- Review and assess in-house loss prevention measures.
- Provide expert consultation to senior management on risk mitigation strategies and management of change.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- At least 5-8 years of hands-on experience related to design, installation, commissioning, or inspection and quality management in manufacturing plants within Semiconductor, Electrical or Chemical industry.
- Direct involvement in engineering projects would be an advantage
- Onsite problem solving and troubleshooting experience is desired
- Work related travel experience and willingness to travel is a must
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Good analytical, interpersonal, problem solving skills
- Efficient time management ability to work independently
- Proven technical capability including diverse knowledge of engineering principles
- Proficient in MS Office products
