About the Role
We're looking for adata-driven, creatively sharp content strategistwho can bothanalyze what worksandexecute high-quality visual content. This role sits at the intersection ofperformance analytics, video editing, and creative storytelling, shaping how Collektr shows up acrossTikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
This is not a pure strategy role. You'll behands-on with editing, visuals, and experimentation, working closely with creators and the marketing team to turn insights intoscroll-stopping content and high-performing campaigns.
Content Strategy, Performance & Insights
- Own performance tracking across social platforms:engagement, watch time, retention, reach, saves, CTR, and follower growth.
- Break down why content performs (or doesn't) and translate insights intoclear creative direction.
- Run ongoingcontent experiments(hooks, pacing, captions, thumbnails, formats, posting times).
- Use data to informwhat we double down on, what we kill, and what we iterate.
Video Editing & Creative Execution (Core Responsibility)
- Editshort-form and long-form videosfor TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube.
- Craftfast-paced, high-retention edits: strong hooks, subtitles, sound design, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Create and adaptthumbnails, posters, social visuals, and simple motion graphicsfor campaigns, streams, and product drops.
- Ensure visuals align withbrand tone, platform best practices, and performance goals.
Creative Development & Trend Adaptation
- Identify trends, memes, sounds, and formats, thenadapt them intelligentlyto fit Collektr's brand and audience.
- Developcreative concepts, scripts, and visual treatmentsbacked by data and audience insight.
- Collaborate with creators and streamers to elevate raw footage intopolished, high-performing content.
Content Planning & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Support the planning and execution of Collektr'smonthly content calendar, aligned with campaigns, drops, livestreams, and community stories.
- Work closely with creators, designers, marketing, and ops to ensuretight turnaround and consistent output.
- Maintain creative standards while moving fast in ahigh-volume content environment.
Community & Brand Amplification
- Monitor comments and audience feedback to surfacecontent insights and community sentiment.
- Spot opportunities to featuresellers, collectors, creators, and community momentsvisually.
Who We're Looking ForData-Led, Performance-Minded
- Comfortable reading analytics dashboards and turning numbers intocreative action.
- Understandsretention curves, hook performance, watch time, and visual impact.
Strong Video & Visual Editor (Non-Negotiable)
- Solid experience withCapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar tools.
- Able to designposters, thumbnails, social visuals, and campaign assets (Canva, Photoshop, Figma, etc.).
- Knows how to edit forspeed, clarity, emotion, and conversion.
Creative & Culture-Aware
- Deep understanding ofTikTok, IG, and YouTube culture.
- Thinks informats, hooks, edits, visuals, and narratives, not just captions.
Proactive & Collaborative
- Takes ownership, moves fast, and iterates without ego.
- Comfortable working with creators, feedback loops, and tight timelines.
- Thrives in afast-paced, experimental startup environment.
