About the Role
We're looking for a data-driven, creatively sharp content strategist who can both analyze what works and execute high-quality visual content. This role sits at the intersection of performance analytics, video editing, and creative storytelling, shaping how Collektr shows up across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
This is not a pure strategy role. You'll be hands-on with editing, visuals, and experimentation, working closely with creators and the marketing team to turn insights into scroll-stopping content and high-performing campaigns.
Content Strategy, Performance & Insights
- Own performance tracking across social platforms: engagement, watch time, retention, reach, saves, CTR, and follower growth.
- Break down why content performs (or doesn't) and translate insights into clear creative direction.
- Run ongoing content experiments (hooks, pacing, captions, thumbnails, formats, posting times).
- Use data to inform what we double down on, what we kill, and what we iterate.
Video Editing & Creative Execution (Core Responsibility)
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube.
- Craft fast-paced, high-retention edits: strong hooks, subtitles, sound design, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Create and adapt thumbnails, posters, social visuals, and simple motion graphics for campaigns, streams, and product drops.
- Ensure visuals align with brand tone, platform best practices, and performance goals.
Creative Development & Trend Adaptation
- Identify trends, memes, sounds, and formats, then adapt them intelligently to fit Collektr's brand and audience.
- Develop creative concepts, scripts, and visual treatments backed by data and audience insight.
- Collaborate with creators and streamers to elevate raw footage into polished, high-performing content.
Content Planning & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Support the planning and execution of Collektr's monthly content calendar, aligned with campaigns, drops, livestreams, and community stories.
- Work closely with creators, designers, marketing, and ops to ensure tight turnaround and consistent output.
- Maintain creative standards while moving fast in a high-volume content environment.
Community & Brand Amplification
- Monitor comments and audience feedback to surface content insights and community sentiment.
- Spot opportunities to feature sellers, collectors, creators, and community moments visually.
Who We're Looking ForData-Led, Performance-Minded
- Comfortable reading analytics dashboards and turning numbers into creative action.
- Understands retention curves, hook performance, watch time, and visual impact.
Strong Video & Visual Editor (Non-Negotiable)
- Solid experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar tools.
- Able to design posters, thumbnails, social visuals, and campaign assets (Canva, Photoshop, Figma, etc.).
- Knows how to edit for speed, clarity, emotion, and conversion.
Creative & Culture-Aware
- Deep understanding of TikTok, IG, and YouTube culture.
- Thinks in formats, hooks, edits, visuals, and narratives, not just captions.
Proactive & Collaborative
- Takes ownership, moves fast, and iterates without ego.
- Comfortable working with creators, feedback loops, and tight timelines.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, experimental startup environment.

- Passion for collectibles, TCGs, anime, toys, comics, sneakers, or pop culture.
- Experience growing or managing brand or creator accounts.
- Motion graphics or basic animation skills.
