Job Description

Full-time, Monday to Friday. On the ground when there's a shoot.

Title on paper is Content Lead. Day to day you're a creator on the ground with 10–12 real Malaysian businesses: cafés, clinics, retailers, founders. We make raw, founder-led content that moves sales, not just agency polish.

What you'll own

  • A pod of 10–12 clients. You're their main contact for content.
  • The monthly content plan for each client: angles, hooks, formats. Approved by our Creative Director, executed by you.
  • Shoot days. You visit the client, find the story on site, direct the owner and staff on camera, and work with our Content Producer to get it shot.
  • Briefs to our editors: selects, captions, what the piece is for. You don't edit, but you're responsible for what comes back.
  • UGC when a client needs it: finding and briefing outside creators, with an assistant handling the admin.
  • The client rhythm: weekly updates, the content calendar, and flagging early when someone's going quiet.
  • Two assistants working with you: one on production, one on client admin and scheduling. You direct them.

Ads, proposals and editing sit with the founder, the Creative Director and our editors, so your week is content and clients.

How the week works

  • Monday to Friday. Some weeks are light with planning and client work from the office; some are heavy, with a shoot every day and occasionally two locations in one.
  • Occasional Saturday or Sunday shoots and events. Overtime is paid.
  • Clients are across the Klang Valley, so you need a car or your own transport. Outside the Klang Valley, mileage is claimed. Travel further when a client needs it; expenses covered.

You have

  • 1–3 years making short-form content that got results, your own or a brand's.
  • An easy way with people. A 50-year-old shop owner and a 22-year-old barista should both be comfortable with you in ten minutes.
  • Malay and English, on and off camera.
  • Your own transport, and you're happy being on the move when the week needs it.
  • Enough organisation to keep 12 clients straight without being reminded.
  • Bonus if you've run Meta or TikTok Shop ads.

You don't need

A big following, expensive gear, or agency experience.

Pay

RM3,000–4,000 depending on experience, overtime paid, expenses and mileage covered, plus a quarterly retention bonus tied to clients staying. EPF, SOCSO and EIS included.

To apply

Send your CV and three pieces of content you're proud of, with a line on what each one was for. Portfolio links, Instagram or TikTok all work.
