Job Description

Job Summary:

We're looking for a Content Moderator (Safety Operations Specialist) to join our back-office operations, focusing on user appeals related to social media account restrictions. In this role, you'll conduct account verification and make critical decisions based on platform guidelines. You'll also collaborate with internal and external teams to improve workflows and ensure efficient appeal handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle user complaints related to one of the social media platform account reviews, such as account ban. (This is not a customer service role, no direct interaction with user required)
  • Review accounts and make decisions based on platform policies and guidelines;
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to identify process improvements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the appeals handling workflow.

Requirements:

  1. At least 6 months of experience in social media platform account security or social media platform content review;
  2. Familiarity with social media platform, for example, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp or WeChat; knowledge of online fraud techniques is a strong advantage;
  3. Able to speak, read and type in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) languages.
  4. Detail-oriented, patient, and able to handle high-volume, fast-paced, and repetitive tasks under pressure;
  5. Require to work in shifts or on public holidays; able to commit the working shift of 9am-6pm ; 1pm-10pm)
