We're looking for a Content Producer (Social Media) to help shape, produce, and execute social-first content across platforms.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role.
The Content Producer (Social Media) plays a key role in turning strategies and ideas into high-performing social content. The role sits at the intersection of content strategy, creative execution, and platform understanding.
You will be involved from ideation to production, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and optimised for each social platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media content strategies aligned with brand and campaign goals
- Ideate, plan, and produce social-first content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others
- Translate campaign ideas into content formats, including short-form videos, captions, scripts, storyboards, and post frameworks
- Write clear, engaging, and on-brand social media captions, including hooks, CTAs, and short-form storytelling
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and strategists to bring content to life
- Manage content production workflows - from planning and shooting to publishing readiness
- Ensure content is platform-native, on-brand, and optimised for engagement and performance
- Stay on top of social trends, formats, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant
- Support community and engagement initiatives through content ideas and executions
- Maintain content quality, consistency, and creative standards across platforms
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formats
- Proven experience producing content for social media (agency or brand side preferred)
- Ability to think strategically while executing creatively
- Comfortable working with short-form video, captions, and social storytelling
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
- 24 years of experience in social media content creation or production
- Experience working in a creative or digital agency is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience appearing on-camera or directing on-screen talent
- Basic understanding of analytics and content performance
- Familiarity with content calendars, publishing workflows, and platform tools
Additional Role Specifics
The selected candidate should be aware that, depending on the situation at the point of hiring, they may be seconded and required to work on-site at a client's office in KLCC, contributing directly to projects for one of Malaysia's most iconic brands.
