Job Description

We are looking for a writer who can move people, to click, to read, to buy, to stay engaged, and to care. This is a hands-on, high-output role inside a fast-moving education and training business. You'll write across the full spectrum of our marketing, including conversion-focused emails, launch campaigns, sales pages, long-form storytelling, ads, captions, and educational content.

You'll work closely with marketing, creative, product teams, and the founder to turn teachings, ideas, and offers into content that performs across multiple platforms and audiences. If you are equally comfortable writing a 1,000-word story-driven post and a five-word headline, you'll feel at home here.

What You'll Do

  • Write conversion-oriented emails, including broadcasts, launch flows, nurture sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and promotional pushes.
  • Craft long-form social content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms that builds authority, engagement, and audience trust.
  • Write captions and short-form content that stop the scroll without sounding forced or generic.
  • Produce finished copywriting assets, including sales pages, landing pages, webinar registration pages, brochures, product descriptions, scripts, and campaign materials.
  • Write ad copy for Meta, Google, YouTube, and other paid platforms, including hooks, headlines, body copy, and testing variations.
  • Repurpose webinars, trainings, live sessions, and raw ideas into multiple content formats across the marketing funnel.
  • Translate complex ideas and teachings into clear, engaging, audience-friendly content without losing depth or nuance.
  • Work with evolving launch directions, incomplete information, or fast-moving campaign updates while still delivering clear and effective copy under deadlines.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other platforms to improve workflow efficiency while maintaining strong human judgment and originality.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, editors, video teams, marketers, and project managers to execute campaigns end-to-end.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • Strong writing ability with a clear, modern, and natural voice. No corporate filler. No robotic AI-sounding copy.
  • Direct-response understanding. You understand hooks, offers, CTAs, objections, positioning, urgency, and audience psychology.
  • Ability to hold attention in both short-form and long-form writing.
  • Strong editorial judgment. You know when copy feels weak, repetitive, emotionally flat, or overhyped.
  • Ability to simplify complex subjects without making them feel shallow or generic.
  • Comfortable using AI writing tools while still thinking independently and editing critically.
  • Ability to research deeply, ask good questions, and develop angles without waiting for every detail to be handed to you.
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with Chinese Metaphysics, or willingness and curiosity to learn subjects such as Feng Shui, BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, and related systems.

Nice To Have

  • Chinese language proficiency, Simplified or Traditional.
  • Experience in education, coaching, training, publishing, personal development, or knowledge-based businesses.
  • Experience with launches, webinars, evergreen funnels, or conversion-focused campaigns.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, automation tools, or workflow systems.
  • Understanding of copywriting frameworks such as AIDA, PAS, StoryBrand, or similar frameworks, used thoughtfully and not mechanically.

Who You Are

  • You think like a marketer, not just a writer.
  • You care about whether the content worked, not just whether it sounded good.
  • You can think strategically even when the brief is messy.
  • You bring initiative, ownership, and adaptability to your work.
  • You read widely, observe people closely, and write regularly.
  • You understand the difference between writing for attention and writing for trust. Both matter.
  • You know AI can speed up execution, but weak thinking cannot be fixed with better prompts.
